Lou-Shang Cantonese Restaurant is situated in the heart of St Annes above Tesco in the square. There has been a Chinese restaurant on this spot for more than 25 years but a recent refurb has brought this venue bang up to date. Formerly Mr Chow's, it remains under the same ownership and the proprietors, Jim and Louise Chow, have been here since 1990. The spacious restaurant comfortably seats 100 and is popular for business lunches Thursday to Saturday as well as in the evenings Tuesday to Sunday. Unusually for a Chinese, Lou-Shang is well known for its home-cooked British puddings.
